Mr. Adhikary is currently involved in the analysis of policies and measures addressing the drivers of deforestation and forest degradation, and barriers to improved forest management, pertaining to REDD+ in the Nepalese context. As an environmental economist, he is interested in research, analysis and tools needed to ensure effective and cost-efficient reduction of environment degradation with equitable impacts and co-benefits. Additionally, he is also keen in carrying out evaluations of policy strategies for reducing vulnerabilities and risks arising from climate change and other forms of environmental degradation.
