Behavioral and choice experiment on REDD+ in Dolakha district
A team from ForestAction Nepal along with Prof. Randell Bluffstone of Portland State University visited Dolkaha district on 25-26 January, 2013. The main objective of this visit was to conduct a trial on the choice card prepared for the choice experiment and behavioral experiment for the project entitled “Nepal Community Forestry (CF) program and UN-REDD in developing countries: CF making pro-poor carbon sequestration policy”. Two different events were organized – one in Gumfa Mahavir Litte Community Forest and another in adjoining Non Community forest in Mudey, Dolakha. Based on the learning from this experiment, the project team members will be carrying out the experiments in other project districts.
