For Environment, Democracy and Livelihoods
ForestAction in collaboration with Oxfam Honk Kong (OHK) is working with farmer’s network, CSOs and partner NGOs of Livelihood Environment Program (LEP) in its five working districts since 2012.The program is extended for the year 2013 as well. In this regard, an inception workshop on ‘Organizing and empowering farmers and Civil Society Organizations for national agriculture policy influence program’ was held on 8-9 April, 2013, Kapilvastu. The workshop involved the participants from AGBS and KSSC kapilvastu, TMUC Gorkha, SAHAMATI Nawalparasi, SWOG Udayapur , FOPA Arghakhachi, Forestaction, and OHK. The main purpose of the inception workshop was to agree and refine the project’s work with a common understanding among its partners. Furthermore, review and reflection on previous year work and planning for ongoing year was also discussed.
