This year ForestAction has further advanced in research and policy dialogues in forestry, agriculture and climate change. It contributed significantly to the designing of the Agriculture Development Strategy (ADS). Through regular deliberations and publications, ForestAction has come up with a possible framework for sustainable agriculture development in Nepal. It has also been a part of the REDD+ (Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation) strategy development process, and has examined Nepal’s REDD+ readiness process with particular focus on the government-led Readiness Preparation Proposal (RPP) implementation and other diverse activities and initiatives beyond the R-PP process.
