This account is prepared to capture the impact and opportunities created by COVID-19 in relation to food and agriculture in Nepal. The status paper also includes suggested and possible future directions to improve food and agriculture in post COVID-19 situation. This is based on reviews of research articles and documentaries, discussions with concern groups, and learning from the experiences of producers and distributers in the context of COVID-19. The draft of this paper has been revised based on suggestions from farmers and experts engaged in food and farming in Nepal.
