Sagar Budhathoki is a young researcher and forestry professional from Dolakha, Nepal. Holding a M.Sc. in Forestry from the Faculty of Forestry at the Agriculture and Forestry University, Mr. Budhathoki has specialized in biodiversity conservation, natural resource management and ecosystem restoration, among other areas. His research primarily addresses critical issues such as wildlife habitat modeling, human-wildlife interface, land use land cover change and the impact of climate change on forest ecosystems. Apart from his research, he also demonstrates extensive skills in data analysis, as well as in GIS and remote sensing. Mr. Budhathoki is based in ForestAction Nepal as a Researcher, who through his extensive work and diverse skill set, is committed to advancing the field of forestry and contributing to sustainable environmental management practices.
